Burgundy: Prestige & Tradition A Deluxe Wine Class at Bar Jo! Wednesday, October 9th | 6:00 - 7:00pm ... From the Celts, to the Romans, to the Catholic Church, the millennia long history of viticulture in Burgundy, France is a testament to the unique and prosperous grape growing region. For hundreds of years, Burgundy has been reputed as the producer of the best wines of the world. Kings and Popes have fought for the barrels and bottles produced on the marl soils of the region, and winemakers all around the world have planted Pinot Noir and Chardonnay to attempt to mimic that distinctive Burgundian style.
Join us for a casual seated wine class where we will break down what this historical hype is all about as we taste through six of our favorite Burgundian wines with our Wine Director, Erin Dudley at Bar Jo!
Your $69 Ticket Includes: Seated wine class with sommelier and NRG Wine Director, Erin Dudley CSW ... Tasting of six fine Burgundian wines ... Small serving of artisanal cheeses and accouterment
